If I was a terrorist with a secret,
I wouldn't share it with someone listening in.
I'd use coded messages,
or a different method of communication.
I might even try subterfuge to send the listener in the wrong direction.
Especially if I was a smart terrorist.

Attempts by governments to monitor electronic messaging
for criminal activity
is more likely to catch
employees leaving work early
for a baseball game or cricket match.
The terrorist and criminals will find ways around the monitoring.
Especially the smart ones that haven't been caught yet.
