If you happen to own a business,
and/or are in a position to hire someone, even for a few hours,
consider doing so...
perhaps someone who worked at the closed factory in town.
Every little bit helps,
and perhaps they'll buy some groceries...
from your daughter who works at the local grocery store,
who'll buy an ice cream cone at the downtown shop...
and all of you will contribute some taxes,
to pay the construction worker,
who keeps Main Street in good repair...
and so on....
and then you'll start to get more local customers,
and you won't have to travel as far for your work,
and that winter skiing vacation is looking more and more possible....
